Referral and Rewards Terms
These terms cover the Earn page: referring other people to BM-i Studio, and the rewards for sharing, reviewing or making a video about it. They sit alongside the Terms of Service and the Subscription, Billing and Credits Terms, which apply in full.
1. Referrals
Every account has a referral link. When somebody signs up through it and later pays for a plan or a credit top-up, you earn a share of what they paid.
- Credits. 25% of each payment, granted to your own workspace as credits at our retail rate, as soon as the payment clears.
- Cash. Coming soon. Cash commissions are not yet available; until they open, every referral reward is paid in credits. When they launch, these terms will say so and how.
- How long. A referred workspace earns for you on its payments for its first 12 months.
- Attribution. The link sets a cookie that lasts 60 days, and we record the referral when they sign up. If you have not agreed to the referral cookie, signing up in that same visit is still credited.
You cannot refer yourself, anyone in your own account, or a workspace you control. Signing up through your own link, or through an account made to look like someone else's, earns nothing.
2. When a payment comes back
A share of a payment is only earned while the payment stands. If a referred payment is refunded, reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent, what it earned is taken back:
- Credits are deducted from your balance. If you have already spent them, the balance goes negative and the next credits you are granted or buy clear it first. Work you already made is yours and is never taken away.
- Cash rewards are not yet offered; if they launch, this section will cover them before any are paid.
- This applies for as long as the original payment can be reversed under the rules of the payment method used, which is typically up to 120 days and longer for some cards.
Rewards for shares, reviews and videos are not affected by refunds — they are paid for something you did, not for somebody else's payment.
3. Shares, reviews and videos
- Sharing BM-i Studio on a social platform: 50 credits, once for each platform.
- A review on a review site we list: 150 credits.
- A video about BM-i Studio: 500 credits, up to 3.
Each is a link you submit, which a person at BrightMinds checks before any credits are granted. We may refuse one that is private, deleted, not about BM-i Studio, misleading about what it does, or posted by an account made for the purpose — and we will tell you why. A post that is taken down after it was approved does not have its credits reversed, but we may decline later submissions from the same account.
You are asked to be honest that you use the product. Where the platform or the law requires you to disclose that you were rewarded, that is yours to do, and these terms do not override it.
4. What earned credits are
Earned credits work like any other credits: they pay for work inside BM-i Studio, they are not money, they cannot be cashed out, transferred or sold, and they are not refundable. They sit in a bonus balance which is spent after your plan credits. Cash commissions are not yet offered; when they are, they will be the only part of this paid in money.
5. Changing or ending this
We may change these rates or these terms. A change applies to referrals and submissions made after it takes effect, never retroactively to something already earned. We may end someone's participation, and withhold or reverse unpaid rewards, where there has been fraud, self-referral, spam, or a serious breach of the Acceptable Use Policy — and we will say which.
